At FUNctional therapy, our specialised paediatric occupational therapist’s work closely with your child and family to determine what their functional goals are, and make a plan together to help them reach their full potential. This is best done in the context of the child’s environment where the goal is most meaningful, which is why we offer a mobile service. We will come to you; your home, your child’s school or kinder or even the local park or swimming pool.

Our paediatric occupational therapist’s are passionate about working with a family centered, goal-oriented approach on what is important to your child and family. This means you and your child drive the goals, while the OT is skilled in supporting the process and skill-teaching to achieve the desired skill. This could be anywhere from establishing a daily routine, to hand writing skills within the classroom, toilet training or rehabilitation following illness or injury.

FUNctional therapy specialises in children with varying and complex requirements including cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury and physical disability.
